Welcome to The Master’s Training Center!
In 1998, the non-profit organization, Papa’s Pantry, began providing food assistance, training, and mentoring to families facing financial crisis. The programs offered today are designed to strengthen and support each family. Thousands have regained stability, even getting off food stamps and other government assistance programs!
Over the years, the training topics have increased to adapt to the ever-changing needs within the community. In 2009 the training division and facility was expanded and officially named “The Master’s Training Center!” All of our classes and workshops are “open to the public” and are attended by people from all walks of life, backgrounds, and education levels.
The most popular workshops are those affiliated with Employment Strategies. Our approach is to identify core competencies and build from there. We target: Confidence Building, Job Search and Application Techniques, Your Memorable First Impression, Work Ethic—Doing the Job, Not Just Getting It, Resume Writing, Interview Skills, Cover Letters, and Entrepreneurial Development.
Other areas of study include: Goal Setting, Life Action Planning, 8 Major Areas for A Full and Balanced Life, ”Excel-lent” Budgeting, Cash Flow Forecast, Emergency Fund Saving, Couponing and Cooking. There’s something for just about everyone!
Won’t you join us? Keep an eye on our event schedule. We oftentimes bring in guest speakers and topics that provide information you need to know!
